Use GoodSearch.com to Donate a Penny Each Time You Search
Every penny counts! Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley has joined the network of nonprofits receiving donations through www.GoodSearch.com.
GoodSearch is a search engine like Yahoo!, Google, or AltaVista; simply enter the terms you are looking for ("hospice care", "catawba county map", "fat-free recipes", etc. -- anything!) and click Search. A new page appears with your results. What makes GoodSearch different is each time you use their site to search for something, their sponsors make a donation to PCHCV (about one cent per search). And it costs nothing for the user!
GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo, so the search function and results will be familiar to Yahoo users.
One step to get started
To get started searching and donating to PCHCV, visit www.GoodSearch.com. The first time you visit the site, you will need to enter our name, Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley, in the space labeled "Who Do You GoodSearch For?" (see red box, below)
Note: GoodSearch uses a cookie to save the name of your desired charity, so you would not have to enter "Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley" every time you enter the site. If your browser's security settings are at the higher levels, it may ask you to click "OK" to the cookie before you proceed.
Once you have entered our name, you're ready to start searching! GoodSearch estimates that 100 users doing just two searches per day will generate about $730 per year for an organization. Help us add those pennies to our patient care programs by using GoodSearch!
